There is no single word to describe what Adrianna does. Her work week can include writing journalistic pieces, putting together "listicles," ghostwriting copy for an online magazine, piecing together a novel, or scribbling down a quick poem. And no, she can't pick a favorite.

Adrianna does 99 percent of her work from Phoenix's local coffee shops. If you bump into her, you'll easily find her buying yet another iced mocha, taking a picture of it, or striking up a conversation with someone at her table in an attempt to procrastinate. It happens.

Adrianna is pursuing a B.S. in criminal justice and criminology and a certificate in LGBT studies at Arizona State University. On the weekends, she's a dispatcher for a small police department in the Valley. It's where she gets a lot of the inspiration for her fiction.
